Texas, AI and New Opportunities: Blogic at SXSW in AustinWhen you say Austin, you might think country music, barbecue and hot Texas sun. But in March, this city becomes a hub for technology, innovation and visionary discussions. And Blogic couldn't miss out this year.

As part of a delegation organized by partners from ZRIA, a.s. and the Zlín Region, we sent our AI ambassadors Martin Dvořáček and Honza Hornych to the prestigious SXSW conference. This event is one of the biggest of its kind in the world and is exactly the place where startups, big players and bold ideas mix.

Our participation was not just about technology. It was about representing the region, seeking inspiration and showing that even from Zlín something can come that will attract the world. We were part of the delegation not only as observers, but also as active participants, several times.

Startup that caught my eye

One of the highlights of the whole trip was a pitch event in front of American investors, where Martin Dvořáček presented our new fintech startup Home.Finance. The goal of the project is to make it easier for people to manage their personal finances through data integration, smart automation and AI.

When avatars come to life

One of the inspiring moments was a discussion with the founder of HeyGen, Joshua X. A leader in AI avatars, which we also use with our clients. Interesting fact? Our ambassadors met Joshua as a virtual character rather than a human. That's the reality of today's AI age.

Austin reminded us that global ambition is not necessarily about the size of the company, but about the courage to think beyond and act quickly. And that's a mindset we want to carry into our other AI projects.
