Artificial intelligence is becoming a natural part of companies, transforming the way we work and opening new paths to growth, efficiency, and innovation. That’s exactly why the AI for Business Zlín event was created, held on November 5th at the Technology Innovation Centre Zlín as part of AI Days, in collaboration with TIC Zlín.
Our shared mission? To show that AI is not a threat, but a partner — and that success comes the moment we change our mindset.
Inspiring speakers, real-world experience, and clear examples from practice
Martin Staša: AI as a catalyst for mindset change and competitive advantage
Martin demonstrated how AI can help companies streamline everyday work and deliver tangible results. In his talk, “AI that transforms mindset and competitive advantage,” he emphasized that the key factor is not the technology itself, but the willingness to change one’s approach. He showed how AI can serve as a practical everyday partner that opens new opportunities for businesses and gradually becomes a source of long-term competitive advantage.
Gabriel Ečegi: Agentic Coding and the transformation of companies in the age of AI
Gabriel presented how AI is fundamentally reshaping business processes and the way teams work. In his session, “Agentic Coding: Transforming Companies in the Age of AI,” he showed that today’s AI can take over part of expert tasks, accelerate communication, and free up people’s capacity for more creative and strategic work. He focused on how to harness this technological shift so that it becomes genuine innovation and brings companies greater efficiency.
Vojtěch Barcuch: Copilot in manufacturing and digitalization in practice
Vojtěch illustrated how AI can enhance efficiency and drive digitalization in a manufacturing environment. He shared insights from the large-scale transformation of the Otrokovice plant, where—thanks to his initiative—Microsoft Copilot began to be actively used across the company and more than 1,200 employees were trained. In his session, “Continental Microsoft Copilot and AI,” he presented concrete examples of how AI simplifies planning, improves work organization, and is gradually becoming an everyday part of core business processes.
Informal discussion and networking over a glass of wine
After the talks, we moved on to a panel discussion. It unfolded in a very relaxed atmosphere, with the audience actively engaging and asking questions. It was great to see that companies are not viewing AI as an “all-or-nothing” topic, but as a process in which they learn and move forward step by step.
The entire program was expertly moderated by Marek Mázl, who kept the pace, drew the audience in, and gave the event a pleasant, dynamic flow.
A wine tasting from Vinařství Prchal in Nikolčice and an excellent buffet from Bistro Soud perfectly complemented the afternoon. And let’s be honest… networking over a glass of wine is always just a little bit easier.
Thank you for being part of it!
A big thank-you also goes to our co-organizers: TIC Zlín and the Czech National AI Platform (CNAIP).
